“samwin – made in Tyrol” was our motto when inviting guests to Tyrol to join us on the very first samwin x-pert hike. We left the dull surroundings of the seminar room behind and headed out into the wilderness – for complete inspiration!

Featuring 20 participants from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark, the group set out in ideal weather on 14 September as they began their ascent to the Sulzenauer Hütte mountain hut at an elevation of 2,191 meters.
Hiking through the unique mountain landscape of Tyrol with our collective samwin expertise, we experienced this environment at first hand in a highly authentic way – on foot and carrying a rucksack. Upon reaching the hut, we were met by very harsh weather conditions comprising a mix of rain and snow.
The rest of this day, the first of two in total, was taken up with engaging and constructive discussions between groups of experts. The second day had a sporting flavor, with brave participants able to take on a via ferrata.

We have planned a repeat of this trip for 2018 and look forward to seeing you there.
