A number of administrative areas in the samwin contact center suite have been fully revised. In the new version there is improved multi-tenant support and a revised organization data display. These new features are designed mainly to simplify the administration of more complex customer scenarios and multi-customer installations.

The highlight in samwin attendant is the inclusion of new presence sources and also SIP/Simple Presence by Cisco. The integration of additional presence information underlines the distinctive feature of samwin attendant and supplements existing information availability around Microsoft Outlook™ or OCS™.

What makes the samwin call center 5.1 stand out from the crowd is the development of new and effective functions. In addition to the well-known options in Version 5.0, 5.1 can, among other things, provide much more support for outbound call center scenarios. The options in the Supervisor have also been extensively expanded. The samwin call center with the new "offsite agent" feature supports the location-independent deployment of co-workers, thus providing even greater flexibility to resource planning.

samwin billing in particular, lifted directly from Version 4.5 to 5.1, has some shiny new options. In Version 5.1 administration is once again combined and centralized with the other modules. The administration of samwin billing is also available as a web-based function, and this substantially simplifies the whole configuration.

When Version 5.1 is released, it replaces Release 5.0 and when ordered will be shipped as the standard product. All future developments will then only be integrated into the current Version 5.1.

The new version will be available free of charge to all customers with an upgrade subscription contract and customers in possession of the service package large.
